Uluru Park Entry is the only additional cost at $25.00 per person. You can hire a warm winter sleeping bag from us for only $15.00.
Please note that all passengers should be aware that the walks on this tour can be strenuous and extreme heat conditions in Central Australia can often reach more than 45 degrees celsius. Passengers are required to ensure that they are of an age and fitness level capable of coping with these conditions.

- Sleeping bags can be hired for $15.00 each (ours are -10 deg suitable for winter May-Sept)
- What to bring:
- A small bag, sturdy walking shoes (no thongs or sandals), a hat, sunscreen, water bottle, towel, swimmers, toiletries, camera and sunglasses. Warm clothes for the winter and comfortable light fitting clothes for the summer.

- Children are not able to travel on this tour. All passengers are required to be at or over the age of 18yrs. Please note that the walks on the tour can be strenuos and are often carried out in the exterme heat of the Australian Desert.

- Depart Darwin on the Greyhound bus at 12.00pm, arrive in Alice Springs the following day at 9.15am. The Rock Tour 3 day 2 night tour departs from Alice Springs at 6.00am and finishes in Ayers Rock airport on day 3 at around 10.30am, or you can return to Alice Springs at 5pm on day 3 of the Rock Tour.

Tour Description
We offer a 5 day package from Darwin to Alice Springs (You can book this in reverse as well)
Includes: Greyhound Bus from Darwin to Alice Springs + 3 day/2 night Red Centre.
The Rock Tour will book the Greyhound Bus sector of the tour
Departs Darwin: 1st day at 12.00pm - you arrive in Alice Springs the following day at 9.15am.
Day 1) Depart Darwin at 12.00pm on the Greyhound bus
Day 2) Arrive in Alice Springs at 9.15am, stay 1 night in Alice Springs
Day 3) The Rock Tour day 1
Day 4) The Rock Tour day 2
Day 5) The Rock Tour day 3, return to Alice Springs at 5.00pm (or finish the tour in Ayers Rock Airport at 10.30am if needed)
The Greyhound Bus Pass is a 'One Way' 14 Day Pass so you can hop off at Katherine for example as shown below:

THE ROCK TOUR departs daily from Alice Springs at 6.00am. This Tour is the most popular backpacker trip to Uluru and is recommended and sold by Travel Agents including Tourstogo Australia wide.
The 5 day Darwin to Uluru is $515 plus $25 Uluru Park Fee.
The Rock Tour 3 day 2 night tour:
Option 1: (Best itinerary) Start your tour in Alice Springs and end your tour back in Alice Springs at 5.00pm on day 3.
Option 2: (Rock Drop Off) Start your tour in Alice Springs and end your tour mid morning at Ayers Rock Airport on day 3.
THE ROCK TOUR (3 day tour)
**Day 1 KINGS CANYON (L,D inc)**
You will be picked up from your Alice Springs accommodation at 6:00am, first destination KINGS CANYON. Enjoy a 3 hour hike through the sandstone domes of the Lost City. Visit the amphitheatre, North & South Walls and have a swim in the Garden of Eden. Next stop, Curtin Springs where we set up our bush camp. Your Guide will prepare a healthy camp-oven dinner. Relax around the fire then curl up in your cozy swag under a million stars.
**Day 2 KATA TJUTA & ULURU SUNSET (B,L,D inc)**
Feel the spiritual significance of the Valley of the Winds at KATA TJUTA. Try some bush tucker along the hike before heading to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you can listen to tales from the DREAMTIME. We spend the evening enjoying dinner at the spectacular SUNSET over ULURU. Witness the sight of Uluru changing colour. We spend this night at the Yalara resort campground.
**Day 3 ULURU SUNRISE (B,L inc)**
Take in the memorable ULURU SUNRISE over the World's Largest Rock. You then have time to complete an optional Uluru Climb or guided Uluru Base Walk around Uluru. You will see beautiful sites such as the Mala Walk, Mutijulu Waterhole and Aboriginal Cave Paintings. If you have a Qantas flight from Ayers Rock Airport we can drop you off at the Airport after 11:30am. We stop on the way home for an optional Camel Ride at Noel Fullerton's Camel Farm. You will arrive back in Alice Springs at approximately 5.30pm. Back to civilization, get cleaned up and we meet later for dinner and a couple of beers at The Rock Bar.
