Australia Zoo – Steve Irwin's legacy – is just an hour north of Brisbane on the picturesque Sunshine Coast. Within viewing distance of the magnificent Glasshouse Mountains, this full day trip to Australia Zoo will deliver you to the gates of one of the world's most esteemed wildlife conservation zoos. Your luxury coach will pick you up from Brisbane Transit Centre on Roma Street at around 9am, or your Brisbane hotel's door, after which you will be transported to the zoo for a fun day with passionate 'Wildlife Warriors' who delight in showcasing their animals while educating you on the necessity for conservation.
With handlers walking certain animals through the park so visitors can enjoy close encounters and numerous live shows featuring birds in flight, croc handling and snake feeding, there are endless things to see and do at Australia Zoo. Visit the gravely endangered Bengal and Sumatran tigers in Tiger Temple, the Asian elephants in Elephantasia and the amazing multi-species Africa exhibit. Enjoy the crocodile shows at the Crocoseum – including feedings – and delight in wildlife adventures with koalas, kangaroos, snakes, birds, alligators and possums.
After your adventurous day, you’ll be returned to Roma Street Station or to your prearranged hotel drop off at around 5 30pm. Entry to Australia Zoo is included in your tour price but official Animal Zoo photo opportunities and eating on site are at your own expense.
